Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department providing patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Collaborates with a wide range of healthcare professionals to treat complex, acute cases requiring timely and coordinated responses. Responsible for utilizing the nursing process, performing patient care, delegating tasks, supervising patient care staff, and coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients. Requires Kansas RN license (or compact state), ACLS and PALS certifications, and an Associate Degree. Shift: Full Time Nights (7p-7a) in Overland Park, KS.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
- Associate Degree
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association or Red Cross
- National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Nursing license as applicable
