Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department while directing and coordinating all nursing activities based on clinical standards. Collaborate with professional disciplines to ensure efficient care delivery and utilize knowledge of developmental age and cultural diversity for family-centered outcomes. Maintain performance improvement techniques to demonstrate positive patient care results. Requires at least one year of patient care experience and an Associate degree in Nursing, with specific certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS obtained by hire or within 12 months depending on the unit assignment.
