Job Summary
Emergency Department Registered Nurse responsible for triage, assessing, planning, and implementing patient care in a fast-paced ED. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring vitals, documenting patient information, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, preparing patients for diagnostic tests, providing emotional support and education to patients and families, and maintaining knowledge of current emergency nursing practices. Requires a Bachelor or Associates degree in Nursing and state RN licensure; BLS/ACLS/PALS and ER experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Associates of Science in Nursing preferred
- Registered Nurse in the State
- BLS, ACLS and PALS
- Two-year emergency room experience in a hospital setting or equivalent experience
