Registered Nurse Emergency Department

Deliver safe patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct patient/family teaching and guide activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional standards in Telemetry. Communicate with physicians regarding changes in clinical conditions, diagnostic results, and symptomatology, responding quickly to condition changes or treatment responses. Adhere to EMTALA regulations and report child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and the Hospital Social Worker, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality. Maintain current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and other facility-specific certifications upon hire.
