Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, while administering safe, accurate, and timely medications and IVs. Direct and supervise assigned team members, collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to deliver age-appropriate care, and ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information. Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, families, and coworkers, while utilizing communication skills to promote a cooperative work atmosphere. Work nights from 1845 to 0715 in a 12x3 rotation at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a 294-bed acute-care hospital serving North Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
- Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards
- Works with confidential material
- Vision Essential
