Job Summary
Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer medications and IVs safely while maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients, families, and coworkers. Communicate clearly with the multidisciplinary team, co-workers, and patients to ensure accurate information transfer and collaborative care. Supervise assigned team members and take initiative for professional growth within the emergency department. Work 3 days a week from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m. with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program
- Knowledgeable about hospital policies, procedures, and nursing care standards
