Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department providing highly professional nursing care using the nursing process, directing and supervising other team members, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver age-appropriate care. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, BLS, Texas nursing license or eligibility, and at least 6 months RN experience; BSN preferred. Responsibilities include clear communication, relationship-building, accountability, patient-experience improvement, professional growth, and team engagement. Shift is 7pm–7am (12x3 Mid/Evening); location is Rowlett, TX at Methodist Richardson Medical Center with the facility noted for Magnet designation and Stroke Center services. Sign-on bonus of 10K mentioned.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
