Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department providing highly professional and technical nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care in accordance with unit standards. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with Texas licensure or eligibility, BLS certification, and at least 6 months RN experience; BSN preferred. Shift is 7pm-7am (Mid/Evening), with a 12-hour, 3-shift pattern and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Current additional certifications as required by department
- Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
- Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience
