Job Summary
Provide patient care in the Mercy South Emergency Department, a Level II Trauma Center with triage, behavioral health, and super track areas. Utilize the nursing process to evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate patient management across departments while maintaining confidentiality. Work the night shift (6:00pm-6:30am) with a 3-4 patient ratio, performing duties that include lifting 50 pounds and prolonged standing. Maintain a current Missouri RN license and Basic Life Support certification. Join a 16-week residency program and take advantage of tuition reimbursement and loan forgiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Current Missouri RN license and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
- Full Time employment (36 hrs/per week)
- Night Shift availability (6:00pm-6:3am)
