Job Summary
Provide patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process, maintaining accountability for patient care, evaluating the care effectiveness of direct care givers, coordinating patient care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy's mission and standards.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a school of nursing (associate's degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where duties are performed
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire
- ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS or other unit-specific certifications as required
