Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department provides comprehensive patient assessment, develops and implements care plans involving patients and families, delivers direct patient and family-centered care and education, identifies evolving conditions, and coordinates discharge planning. The role directs and delegates care to unlicensed team members and emphasizes world-class patient service. 40 hours weekly on a 12-hour night schedule at Massena Hospital (Massena, NY). Requires NYS RN license; BSN preferred and national certification supported; union affiliation NYSNA noted.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school program
- Current, unrestricted New York State registered professional nursing license
- AHA BLS upon hire
