Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients in the emergency department. Direct patient management by synthesizing clinical data to optimize outcomes based on ANA standards and evidence-based practice. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs and coordinate family education throughout the treatment course. Perform validated technical skills, utilize technology to optimize care delivery, and lead by teaching, mentoring new colleagues, and delegating based on team member expertise and patient acuity. Participate in performance improvement processes and unit-based patient experience goals. Requires RN licensure in Pennsylvania, BLS certification, and ability to lift 40-50 lbs. Full-time day shift rotation (3 x 12-hour shifts, every other weekend).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Nursing program
- Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care
- Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty
- Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies
- Basic computer skills
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania
- Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania
