Registered Nurse Emergency Department

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and coordination while managing time, supplies, and resources to prioritize patient needs. Collaboratively develop individualized care plans with patients, families, and physicians, including education and referrals. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as necessary. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with legal and ethical standards. Requires six months of RN experience in an Emergency Department and a current state license.
