Job Summary
Assess physical, social, and psychological patient status; collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans; direct care delivery through delegation and resource coordination; evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise plans as needed. Provide accurate, timely documentation while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Requires six months of Emergency Department experience, a current state RN license, and BLS certification. Full-time mid and night shift availability with 36 hours weekly. BSN required for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Six months of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Education must be obtained from an accredited institution
- Degree will be verified
