Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients in the Emergency Department using the nursing process, technology, and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation, coordination, and collaboration while managing time, supplies, and resources to prioritize patient care delivery. Collaboratively develop individualized plans of care involving patients, families, physicians, and support staff, and actively seek their involvement in education and referrals. Evaluate patient responses to interventions, revise care plans as needed, and provide accurate, timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Requires six months of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department and a current state license.
Required Qualifications
- Six months of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Full time, 36 hours/week, mid shift & night shift availability
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
