Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practice. Direct the interdisciplinary care team through delegation and collaboration, prioritizing patient needs while managing time, supplies, and resources. Coordinate care with physicians, family members, and support staff to develop individualized plans of care, including education, referrals, and follow-up. Evaluate patient responses to interventions and revise care plans as clinical outcomes change. Maintain accurate and timely documentation while adhering to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards. Requires one year of licensed RN experience in the Emergency Department and a current state license.
Required Qualifications
- One year of licensed RN experience in an Emergency Department
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Full time, 36 hours/week, night shift

- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN). Education must be obtained from an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
