Registered Nurse Emergency Department

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the physical, social, and psychological status of patients in the Emergency Department using evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. Direct care delivery through delegation, prioritize patient needs, and coordinate resources while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with legal standards. Collaborate with physicians, family members, and support staff to develop individualized care plans, manage transitions, and address urgent clinical outcomes. Requires six months of RN experience in an Emergency Department, a current state license, and BLS certification. BSN required for new hires. Full-time, 36-hour week with mid-shift and night availability at Lutheran Medical Center.
