Job Summary
Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department at St Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, MT. Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a busy Level 1 Trauma ED. Collaborate with the health team, document per guidelines, promote mission/values, and may float to other departments as needed. Night shift, full-time (36 hours/week). Requires RN licensure in MT; ASN/ADN holders must obtain BSN within four years unless they have substantial RN experience. BLS-HCP is required (or obtained within 60 days); ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit. May be placed on-call during shifts. Sign-on bonus of $10,000 offered.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required.
- ASN/ADN holders must complete a BSN within four years from hire unless they have 15+ years of continuous RN experience in an acute care setting.
- BSN degree is preferred.
- Current BLS-HCP certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit/service.
