Job Summary
RN in Emergency Department at an Acute Care/Academic Medical Center in Syracuse, NY. Deliver emergency nursing care in a fast-paced trauma setting with 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and some holidays. Requires NY State RN license with BLS and ACLS; 2+ years of ED trauma-center experience; adult and pediatric populations experience; EPIC EMR experience preferred. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, maintains accurate patient records, adheres to BLS/ACLS protocols, and contributes to high-quality emergent care in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center.
Required Qualifications
- Active NYS RN license
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience
- Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 trauma centers (strongly preferred)
- Experience with Adult & Pediatric populations
- EPIC (EMR) experience (preferred)
