Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department in Kern Medical’s full-time shift role. Responsibilities include creating and sustaining a compassionate care environment, collecting and documenting patient data, interpreting assessments to identify risk factors, collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare teammates to develop and implement individualized plans of care, prioritizing nursing actions, and coordinating patient care rounds and teaching. Requires adherence to nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements; supports ongoing professional development, quality improvement, and staff mentorship. Must have two years of ED experience and an active CA RN license (BSN/ADN preferred). Bachelor's or associate degree in nursing preferred. BLS certification required.
