Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department responsible for comprehensive patient care, including assessment, documentation, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Requires current NJ RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and IV Therapy certifications. Preferred candidates will have a BSN and at least two years of recent ED experience. Requires ability to work under supervision and perform duties in a busy emergency setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current NJ licensure as RN
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, IV Therapy
- Good interpersonal skills
- Speaks, reads and writes English as required by position
- 2 years of recent ED experience preferred for experienced nurses
- ACLS, PALS required upon hire for inexperienced ED including new grads
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- ENA certification preferred
Additional Requirements
- Must complete BSN within three years for inexperienced ED
- ACLS and PALS required upon hire unless accepted to Nurse Residency Program
