Job Summary
Provides direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department, assessing patients to determine unmet healthcare needs, using ESI Triage Scoring for prioritization. Organizes interventions addressing identified needs, communicates care plans with the multidisciplinary team, and evaluates intervention effectiveness. Requires current Oregon RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC certifications, and 1 year acute care experience, with emergency department experience preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Current Unencumbered Oregon State Registered Nurse Licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (or ENPC), and TNCC (Emergency Nurse Association) or ATCN required
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in an Acute Care setting
Desired Qualifications
- BSN Preferred
- NRP Advanced (American Heart Association)
- STABLE certifications preferred
