Job Summary
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department in York, PA. Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level following the nursing process and hospital standards; acts as primary nurse for patients on the unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines; may require specialized skills depending on unit assignment. ED setting within a Level 1 Trauma Center with a comprehensive, stroke, and chest pain accreditation; Evening shift with Full-Time (0.9 FTE) and 72 hours biweekly, with shift differentials and a sign-on bonus option.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed practical nurse?
- Registered Nurse licensure in Pennsylvania or compact state
- RN license
- Emergency Department experience preferred?
- BLS/ACLS certifications recommended?
- Beginner practitioner level responsibilities
- Certified nursing principles; patient/family-centered care
- Strong teamwork and care coordination
