Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Summary
Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department by performing rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of care. Respond to acute changes, trauma, and life-threatening conditions while interpreting labs, diagnostics, and patient symptoms. Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments, and educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, and patient safety standards. Report suspected abuse or neglect per regulatory requirements. Full-time nights shift (7p–7a), 12-hour rotations, with a sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire
- MICN within 12 months of hire and maintain current
- Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire
- NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintain current
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) within 12 months of hire required
