Job Summary
Manage urgent and emergency medical, surgical, and traumatic conditions for infants, children, and young adults in a Level I Regional Pediatric Trauma Center. Provide 24-hour care across varying levels of acuity and complexity, collaborating with emergency medicine physicians, nurses, mid-level providers, and administrative staff. Maintain current Massachusetts RN licensure and complete a Bachelor's degree in nursing with at least one year of inpatient acute or emergency medicine experience. Work a 36-hour night shift with every other weekend rotation, starting September 2026.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in nursing
- A minimum of 1 years of inpatient acute or emergency medicine RN experience
- The ability to work in collaboration with emergency medicine physicians, nurses, mid-level providers and administrative staff
- The analytical skills to resolve highly complex problems requiring the application of clinical, scientific or technical principles, theories and concepts and in-depth, cross-functional experience-based knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Current Massachusetts license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 36 hours nights and every other weekend
- September 2026 Start Date
Desired Qualifications
- ED experience (pedi preferred) or any acute pediatric experience
