Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department providing 36 hours/week (Friday-Sunday, 7A-730P) with weekend shift differentials and a base pay within the posted range. Responsibilities include complete patient assessments, administering medications and Treatments, monitoring patient progress and evaluating therapies for outcomes, collaborating with physicians to develop care plans, supporting and educating patients and families to achieve optimal outcomes, maintaining critical thinking and interpersonal skills, and aiming to exceed patient expectations. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, MA RN licensure or eligibility, and ED experience; certifications in ACLS, PALS (within 6 weeks), and TNCC preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Massachusetts RN licensure (or eligibility)
- BLS Certification
- Emergency Department experience required
- ACLS, PALS Certification (required within 6 weeks of hire)
- TNCC Certification, preferred
