Job Summary
Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Boston Medical Center (BMC) with a 36-hour schedule (7p-7a) and rotating weekends. Responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced ED, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients. Coordinate and delegate care with inter-professional team; manage and update patient records; adhere to guidelines and policies of BMC’s nursing organization; support quality improvement projects and collaborate with leadership. Requires 3-5 years of Emergency Department experience; nursing degree (diploma, ASN or BSN) with Massachusetts RN license and BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Relocation assistance available; compensation range $38.10-$77.63/hour with comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities.
