Job Summary
Emergency Department Registered Nurse responsible for completing patient assessments, administering medications and treatments, observing patient progress and evaluating therapies for clinical outcomes. Collaborates with physicians and other medical professionals to develop optimal care plans, supports and educates patients and families to achieve maximum outcomes, and applies critical thinking to exceed patient expectations. Schedule: 36 hours per week with weekend/holiday rotation. Shift: 3P-3:30A. Education: graduate of an accredited nursing program. Licenses/Certifications: state of MA RN licensure (or eligibility); BLS required; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred (required within 6 weeks of hire); TNCC preferred. ED experience required.
