Job Summary
Responsible for planning, delivering, and managing direct patient care in the Emergency Department utilizing the nursing process. Responsibilities include performing patient assessments, developing care plans, coordinating discharge planning, supervising nursing care, and ensuring quality care through collaboration with healthcare providers. Required qualifications include a current Massachusetts Nursing license, BLS certification, and a comprehensive knowledge of nursing. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. This role requires working 24 hours a week during night shifts with every other weekend and holiday.
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration
- BLS certification or ACLS certification
- Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing
