Job Summary
Conduct patient assessments using subjective and objective data to establish nursing diagnoses and prioritize needs across physiological, social, psychological, and age-specific domains. Develop individualized plans of care with measurable outcomes and deliver interventions while assigning tasks to non-RN staff and evaluating care quality. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication, manage patient teaching plans, and maintain competence through performance improvement activities and self-development. Requires current NYS licensure, BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP certification; BSN preferred with a pathway for non-BSN candidates. Salary range $41.00-$58.08/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited RN program
- Current licensure in NYS or eligibility for limited permit to practice
- Current BLS
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- 1 year of acute care experience
- Current certification in ACLS, PALS and NRP
- Board Certification
