Job Summary
RN providing electrophysiology (EP) nursing care for patients undergoing EP procedures. Responsibilities include assessing needs via patient history, examination, and diagnostic data, administering age-appropriate nursing interventions per care plans and standards, maintaining professional conduct and strong patient/family relations, promoting safety and quality, and contributing to department growth via mentoring and evidence-based practice. The role supports hospital initiatives, allows for floating to other units as needed, and requires ongoing professional development. Qualifications include an accredited nursing program graduate, active RN license in good standing, BLS, and advanced resuscitative certification for charge-nurse responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Active Registered Nursing License verified by LLR.
- BLS required for all nurses upon hire.
- Advanced resuscitative certification appropriate to population if serving in a charge nurse role.
