Job Summary
RN is responsible for the clinical nursing supervision of unlicensed Direct Care Staff in performing nursing tasks, including training, periodic inspection, evaluation of outcomes, and availability for consultation. Responsibilities include determining supervision frequency, ensuring on-site or immediate availability of an RN, developing and reviewing plans of nursing services for consumers in respite settings, ensuring medication administration is planned and documented, educating direct care staff, reviewing information prior to admissions, and coordinating emergency respite care. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in nursing and NYS licensure, valid driver's license, background check, and medical exam prior to start date; the position involves on-site supervision with weekly to ongoing oversight in the FSR center and related facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree LIC in NYS; with one year related experience and/or training
- Valid NY Drivers License with a clean driving record
- 28 years old with Clear Criminal Background Check
- Medical exam prior to start date
