Job Summary
Conduct learning needs assessments, validate gaps with experts, and prioritize anticipated educational requirements aligned with system goals. Develop, coordinate, and implement evidence-based training plans that incorporate adult learning principles and diverse learner needs. Facilitate positive learning environments, evaluate program outcomes, and disseminate results to guide future improvements. Serve as a clinical resource and preceptor for nursing staff, medical staff, and students to ensure competency and foster a healthy workforce. Collaborate with interprofessional teams, safety, quality, and IT departments to advance performance improvement initiatives and shared governance. Promote evidence-based practice, research, and innovation while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing
- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
- Minimum 3 years of nursing practice experience
- Experience with direct patient care
- Ability to read, write, and speak English language
- Optimize the use of technology to support learning

- Develop, coordinate, manage, facilitate, conduct, and evaluate onboarding, orientation, and competency programs for nursing and other healthcare personnel
- Some specialties may require ACLS, NRP or PALS per unit requirement
- If required, must receive ACLS, NPR or PALS within 6 months of employment in position within 180 Days
Desired Qualifications
- Seeks professional certification in NPD
