Job Summary
Teach CNA students in classroom, skills lab, and clinical settings while delivering approved curriculum and supervising clinical training experiences. Demonstrate and evaluate CNA skills and competencies, monitor student progress, and provide coaching or remediation as needed. Maintain attendance, competency evaluations, and student records to ensure compliance with Montana Nurse Aide Training Program requirements. Additionally, conduct and evaluate CNA skills examinations according to state testing standards, ensuring integrity, security, and confidentiality while completing documentation and reporting. Obtain and maintain certification as a Headmaster CNA Testing Evaluator to serve as a professional representative of the testing process.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Montana Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a Long Term Facility
- Strong communication and teaching skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient with basic computer systems and electronic documentation
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Eligible and willing to become a certified Headmaster CNA Testing Evaluator
Desired Qualifications
- Previous CNA Instructor experience
- Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, Assisted Living, or Home Health experience
- Adult education or healthcare training experience
- Experience evaluating clinical competencies or conducting skills assessments
