Job Summary
Develop and implement staff education programs within the Emergency Department, serving as a learning facilitator for orientation, practice transitions, and continuing education. Provide foundational competency validation to advance nurses from novice to competent practitioners while supporting system performance improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives. Manage operational aspects of professional development to enhance quality, safety, and patient outcomes at this Level I Trauma Center. Requires a BSN, RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification, with two years of clinical experience and preferred trauma or process improvement background. Full-time, 40-hour day shift with one weekend on-call rotation every 10 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Level Degree, BSN in Registered Nursing
- Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- ACLS
- PALS
- Two Years of Clinical RN experience
- Emergency Department experience
- Level 1 Trauma experience
