Registered Nurse, ED, Flex, PRN

Perform focused assessments and triage patients using established guidelines to prioritize care based on acuity. Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as ordered by providers while monitoring and documenting changes in patient condition. Respond to emergency situations with life-saving measures such as CPR and defibrillation, assisting physicians with procedures and coordinating care with interdisciplinary teams. Provide education and discharge instructions to patients and families, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Precept and mentor new staff and nursing students as assigned. Maintain competencies through continuing education and departmental meetings. This Full-Time position reports to the Emergency Department Manager with flexible scheduling as needed by the department.
