Job Summary
Provide direct emergency nursing care in an ED/ER setting. Rapidly assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity; administer medications and IV therapy; perform wound care and cardiac monitoring; respond to trauma and emergencies; collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement timely treatment plans; continuously monitor patient status and document changes; educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge instructions, and follow-up care. Requires BSN, LA RN licensure, and BLS; 1 year of RN experience. Per-diem position with 7:30 am–5:00 pm CDT shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Active, unencumbered RN license from the state of LA
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of RN work experience
