Job Summary
Implement and monitor specialized health care plans to ensure patient stability and safety in the emergency department. Serve as the primary liaison between physicians and clinical teams to advocate for patients and execute orders with precision. Expertly assess, record, and communicate evolving patient conditions while adapting interventions in real-time. Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive discharge needs and support successful transitions of care. This Registered Nurse role requires evening shift coverage (36 hours) with rotating weekends and full-time status.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire
