Job Summary
Direct nursing care in the Emergency Department aligned with policies and clinical protocols; manage individualized care plans and communicate status changes to the medical team; serve as primary coordinator across clinical disciplines; accurately process physician and nursing orders to maintain treatment continuity; evaluate and manage patient discharge needs in collaboration with the healthcare team for safe transitions.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
