Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care and direct patient assistance on the assigned unit at Jackson Street and Williams Way Campus. Lead licensed vocational nurses and non-professional personnel in delivering direct patient care while supporting medical treatment under Medical Staff direction. Maintain current Texas Registered Nurse licensure and hold required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. Demonstrate leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills while managing daily clinical duties.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Clinical nursing experience OR equivalent EMT/Paramedic experience
- Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse
- Certified in Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
- Advance Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support (or ENPC)
- TNCC
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
