Job Summary
Provide nursing care within Harmony Health Group’s behavioral health setting, administering prescribed medications, assessing patient conditions, educating patients about their conditions, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with the Medical team to support recovery. The RN will support the Medical Department and Medication Administration Program, participate in standards and compliance trainings, uphold privacy and confidentiality, and contribute to a positive, team-based care environment through effective communication and documentation. Flexible scheduling with available 1st-3rd shifts, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement are highlighted in the role.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in state (or Nursing Licensure Compact)
- Minimum 1 year experience in chemical dependency/substance abuse/psychiatric setting or human services
- Complete TB testing upon hire
- Background and Drug screening clearance
- CPR, HIPAA, HIV/AIDS, Verbal De-Escalation, Harassment/Discrimination, Incident Reporting, Infection/STD Risks, HEP B/C, Abuse/Neglect/Trauma training as required by State or Joint Commission
- Ability to administer prescribed medications and follow nursing procedures
- Ability to assess and monitor physical and/or mental conditions
- Documentation and reporting proficiency
- Knowledge of privacy regulations (HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2)
- Knowledge of SUD resources and COWS/CIWA scoring
