REGISTERED NURSE, DSU, Part Time

Conduct direct and indirect patient care in the Day Surgery Unit and preoperative holding area, performing head-to-toe assessments and pain management for pediatric, geriatric, and general populations. Establish care plans per physician orders, communicate clinical changes to physicians and the Nurse Manager, and respond quickly to patient condition shifts. Treat patients and families with dignity while addressing psychosocial and cultural needs, acting as a liaison between administration, providers, and patients. Participate in general nursing duties across departments under supervision.
