Job Summary
Registered Nurse contracting role supporting Military Service members via independent contractor arrangement. Responsibilities include conducting Physical Health Assessments for military personnel, reviewing health history and medical records, interviewing personnel to identify current and prior medical concerns (including Behavioral Health), and documenting interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system. Weekend-heavy schedule with some weekday coverage under the Reserve Health Readiness Program (RHRP) in Michigan (Detroit area), serving US Army Reserve, Army National Guard, US Navy Reserve, Marine Forces Reserve, Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve with on-call/as-needed basis.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing
- Ability to conduct physical health assessments
- Experience reviewing medical history and medical questionnaires
- Ability to interview military personnel and identify urgent health concerns
- Experience documenting readiness classifications in medical records
