Job Summary
Registered Nurse for a 6-month fixed-term Transition Program in Mercy Palliative Care, Melbourne. Provide compassionate, patient-centred holistic care including comprehensive assessment, ongoing review, and symptom management for patients with life-limiting illnesses in a 24-hour community-based service. Demonstrate strong clinical decision-making, time management, and communication skills; work within a multidisciplinary team; support families and carers; rotate across a 7-day roster. Requires a current nursing registration (RN), police check, Working with Children Check, a Victorian driver’s licence, and influenza vaccination status as per public health orders. Ready to contribute to high-quality in-home palliative care and patient-centered outcomes.
