Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of the case management department, including developing and implementing policies, procedures, and strategies to improve patient outcomes and quality of care. Manage and direct staff through hiring, training, and performance evaluations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards of practice. Monitor case management data to identify improvement areas, oversee utilization review for cost-effective care, and participate in budget planning. Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources to coordinate patient care and provide guidance on complex cases. Stay current on industry trends to recommend process improvements. Requires a current Nevada RN license, Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and minimum five years of case management experience with two years in leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state of Nevada
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in case management
- At least 2 years in a leadership or management role
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards of practice
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team
- Proficient in data analysis and utilization review processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the management team and healthcare providers
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with budget planning and management is preferred
