Job Summary
Assess daily dialysis patient care needs, distribute assignments, and supervise support staff while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes. Evaluate treatment effectiveness, manage patient complaints, and participate in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement activities. Perform surveillance and testing of water treatment equipment and maintain machine maintenance partnerships with home dialysis departments. Demonstrate clinical competence in cannulation, infection control, and bloodborne pathogen prevention while providing patient education on medical conditions. Contribute to hiring, training, and staff development efforts. Requires a Registered Nurse license and BLS certification; works day shifts with 36 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Minimum one year of registered nurse experience
