Job Summary
Registered Nurse Dialysis - FT delivers care and treatment to patients with chronic renal disease, supervising Certified Hemodialysis Technicians, administering in-center medications, performing pre/post treatment assessments, initiating/terminating dialysis, managing vascular access, documenting patient information, providing patient education, and ensuring adherence to facility policies and state/federal regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring patient treatment every 30 minutes, OR per policy, assisting with anemia management and medication protocols, coordinating with providers, supervising staff, and maintaining supplies and equipment; requires RN license, CPR certification, and willingness to complete training promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license, in good standing, in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification required
- Previous experience working in dialysis preferred
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate in writing as well as verbally
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in NRC clinical applications required within 30 days of hire
- Must successfully complete training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 30 days of hire
- Successful completion of clinical skills checklist within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter
