Job Summary
The Registered Nurse in the Dialysis Unit provides comprehensive nursing care focused on the patient, including assessments, treatments, and education. This role involves coordinating patient care activities and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Candidates must hold a current RN license in Kentucky, have a nursing degree, and obtain basic life support certification shortly after hiring. Additional certifications are required as stipulated by the department.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in Kentucky
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in nursing
- Basic life support certification within 30 days of hire
- Those with an associate degree must enroll in a bachelor’s degree program within 12 months
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS certification
- PALS certification
- NRP certification
- Dysrhythmia class completion
Additional Requirements
- Candidates with less than 10 years experience must enroll in a bachelor’s degree program within 12 months
