Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Diabetes Education (RN Diabetes Nurse Educator) coordinates nursing care, provides direct patient care, and leads patient/family education and transitions of care. Works within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, applying standards of nursing practice for Diabetes Educators, and contributes to quality improvement and leadership activities such as preceptorship and committee involvement. Requires state RN licensure (or eligibility) and may involve sponsorship considerations for TN visa.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida or eligibility
- Diabetes Education qualification preferred or demonstrated experience
