Job Summary
Supervise nursing care provided by nursing assistants and coordinate plans for nursing home residents under the direction of the Director of Nursing. Plan, assign, and direct the work of nursing team members, including CNAs and CMTs, while preparing assignment sheets that consider resident safety and staff capabilities. Administer and document medications, perform treatments such as wound care and oxygen management, and conduct ongoing health assessments to avoid unplanned hospital discharges. Report staff shortages to management, resolve employee complaints, and participate in performance evaluations. Requires a current state RN license, CPR certification, and preference for two years of long-term care experience. Full-time position in Osage Beach, MO with a $7,500 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN)

- Interest in gerontological nursing
- Prefer 2 years' experience in a long-term care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations
- Ability to communicate orally and through written reports and other documents relating to resident, staff and others
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, clients, customers, and the public
- Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical journals and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Desired Qualifications
- Additional certification in nursing specialty
